GTA 6 PS5 bundle in Brazil: TIM offers console and game for R$2,376

Brazilian carrier TIM is selling a PS5 Slim Digital with GTA 6 for R$2,376, but the deal requires an eligible plan and a used PS4 trade-in, Voxel reports.

Reported. Established outlets report this. Rockstar hasn't said so.

Brazilian mobile carrier TIM has opened an early Black Friday promotion that pairs a PlayStation 5 Slim Digital Edition with a copy of GTA 6 for R$2,376, or 24 monthly payments of R$99, according to Voxel. The offer went live on October 30 as part of TIM's "Black Friday Indecente" campaign. The headline price looks great, but it comes with conditions that will rule a lot of people out.

The catch: a phone plan and a PS4

Voxel reports that two requirements sit behind that R$2,376 figure. First, buyers need to sign up for, or already have, one of two TIM plans: TIM Ultracombo or TIM Black Família VIP. Second, the price assumes you hand over a used PlayStation 4 through TIM Troca Smart, the carrier's trade-in programme, which assesses the old console in store at the time of purchase.

That second point matters. Voxel stresses that the advertised amount is not an unconditional price, and that the final bill can shift depending on how your PS4 is valued. If you don't own a PS4 to trade, this deal likely isn't the one for you.

The plans themselves are not cheap, and Voxel notes they come with a loyalty commitment. According to the outlet, TIM Black Família VIP runs R$399.99 per month for up to 250 GB of data shared between the account holder and up to five dependents. TIM Ultracombo bundles home fibre with mobile data, with options such as 600 Mega fibre plus 65 GB for R$99.99 per month, or 1 Giga fibre plus 70 GB for R$149.99 per month. Prices can vary by region, so check locally before signing anything.

When you actually get GTA 6

GTA 6 launches on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, so TIM has split the offer into two phases, per Voxel:

  • Bought between October 30 and November 18: the game is included at no extra cost, but you have to go back to the same TIM store from November 19 onward, with the required documents, to pick up your copy.
  • Bought from November 19: the game is handed over with the console at the point of sale, while stocks last.

The promotion runs until December 1, 2026, or until stock runs out. Voxel adds that TIM has not specified which edition of GTA 6 is included, so buyers should not assume it is anything beyond the standard game.

Is it worth it?

On paper, the savings are real. Voxel puts the usual Brazilian retail price of a PS5 Slim at around R$4,000, and lists GTA 6 at R$449.90 for the standard digital edition and R$549.90 for the Ultimate edition locally, with limited promotions dropping the game to around R$350. Getting both for under R$2,400 is a big gap.

But the console discount has to be weighed against months of plan payments. For someone already paying for a TIM Ultracombo or Black Família VIP plan, with a PS4 gathering dust, this could be one of the cheaper ways in Brazil to be ready for launch day. For anyone signing up just for the bundle, the monthly costs and the loyalty period can eat into the savings quickly.

TIM's campaign also covers phones, TVs and audio gear, including a Samsung Galaxy S25 FE 256 GB for R$1,799 and an iPhone 17e 256 GB for R$2,999, both tied to the same plans, Voxel reports.

This is a carrier deal rather than an official Sony or Rockstar bundle. For the official side of things, see our breakdown of the GTA 6 PlayStation marketing deal and PS5 bundles, how the game's official price compares to the rumours, and the full GTA 6 release date timeline.
