GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek threatens full build leak as coin falls short

GTA 6 leaker CyberLeek says it will release a full 200GB playable build if its meme coin hits $30 million, but the coin crashed far short of the goal.

Rumour. An unverified leak or claim. Treat it with caution until Rockstar speaks.

The GTA 6 leaker known as CyberLeek has threatened to release what it calls a complete, playable build of Rockstar's game, one it says can be finished from start to finish. The catch: its meme coin first has to reach a $30 million market cap. Kotaku, Eurogamer, PC Gamer and GamesRadar+ report that the demand went up on CyberLeek's website on October 10, and Dexerto first spotted it through an X post by creator LegacyKillaHD. Within two days the coin had crashed. Nobody has independently verified that a finished build exists.

The offer and the price list

CyberLeek's notice says the build will go out with "full story mode, played to the end, credits and all," and offers to show doubters any footage they ask for. It also gives Take-Two one way out: "physical disks and a public apology." PC Gamer's verdict on that condition is that it will never happen. Kotaku said the threat looks like "round two of the rug pull."

On October 12 the leaker doubled down. According to Dexerto, CyberLeek now claims the build is over 200GB. It also says every market cap milestone reached will unlock a new clip the next day, and if several are passed at once the clips stack up. Kotaku published the roadmap: $5 million for a mini tank, $9 million for a tank, $13 million for a police shootout, $21 million for a fighter jet, $25 million for train vs train and $30 million for the full build. Dexerto's list of teased footage also includes a jumbo jet, a private lap dance and gunfire on the beach.

Some people on social media think the clips come from a development build with cheats switched on. Kotaku says the nude Jason footage appears to have used a debug mode. Neither point has been confirmed.

The coin is nowhere near the target

The outlets agree the coin is far off its goal but give different numbers. Citing OpenSea, GamesRadar+ reported that it peaked at $7.6 million on October 11 and then fell to about $2.7 million. Kotaku, citing CoinMarketCap, puts the weekend high at just over $4.75 million, followed by a 50 percent drop in 24 hours to about $2.2 million. Either way, that is less than a tenth of the $30 million target. The reports we reviewed, the latest from October 12, give no sign that the threat had been carried out.

How we got here

CyberLeek began posting GTA 6 clips in August, showing combat, driving, basketball, police chases, radio stations and parts of the map. One clip ended with "LEEK" shot into a wall. The account went quiet in late August after reportedly pulling about $250,000 out of its coin, which then crashed, according to Kotaku. It came back on October 8 with a video of roughly 25 minutes showing cutscenes, races, first-person play and nude scenes of Jason and Lucia. Eurogamer says it saw the video and that it appears legitimate. Dexerto says its authenticity has not been independently confirmed. Kotaku adds that parts of it seem to recreate moments from the official Netflix reveal in August.

The campaign calls itself a protest against digital preorders, paid single-player DLC, code-in-a-box physical editions and games that stop working when servers shut down. Several outlets argue the crypto scheme undercuts that story. The preservation group Stop Killing Games told GamesRadar+ that "using illegal means to make a point is unacceptable to us."

Rockstar has called the leaks "heartbreaking" for its team and warned that leaked material may contain spoilers. According to Kotaku, Take-Two and Rockstar subpoenaed Discord and Microsoft in August for user records. There has been no public update on that investigation since.

What it means for players

Apart from the leaker's own word, there is still no proof that a complete story build exists. The bigger risk is spoilers, since CyberLeek has offered to post story moments to prove its claims. GTA 6 Hub will not link to or describe where to find leaked material. We have since covered CyberLeek's claim that the leaks will stop, along with its threat of a dead man's switch.

The official game isn't far off now: GTA 6 launches on November 19 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
